in 5th grade, i did a presentation on how to make shadow puppets, also how to trace them on a piece of paper. "no drawing skills necessary!" i said. it was weird, and in hind sight a little embarassing.
I like how james draws the speech bubble coming out of the mouth of the person, then through the mouth of the puppet. on the other side of the screen, of course, the puppet is simply speaking. ...but then I like all of james' speech bubbles (I think I remember one where the person's hands are on their shoes, and there is a speech bubble coming from their shoelaces that says "tie tie". but I might just be making that up...)
